Country House Hotel in the Cotswolds required
Discussion
Apologies if I have not hit the right board but I couldn't find a more logical regional forum.
Can anyone recommend a really good Country House Hotel in the Cotswolds for a 3 day stay at the end of October. It must be picturesque, comfortable and with a good restaurant.
Any suggestions please.
Many thanks.

Not been there, but Upper Slaughter is a delightful area for sure. Some really good pubs (1/2) in village also.HammyHamster said:

Have spent 3? Christmas breaks here. Not cheap, but bang in middle of town and high level of luxury available. Check web site over to see the variety of rooms. New spa too which is nice.A number of very interesting suggestions made that I shall look at also. This hotel is 'cottagey' in spirit room wise and you can't go far wrong.
Good luck choosing!

Thats the one I meant. Only word of warning is that they can get a bit slow serving afternoon tea in the summer as they get very busy. These are the web sites for the ones I like, both near Broadway
