Car Related Applications

Just bought my first proper apple product (ipod nano does not count in my eyes!) and slightly overwhelmed by all these apps.
At first I wasn't bothered by any, but its getting the better of me!
So for the car enthusiast what the handful of must have (ideally free!) apps that actually add some value.
Sat nav (have it in my car) and working out my MPG (I own a calculator and a GSCE in Maths) does not bother me.
Two things:
1. I know this is technically the wrong forum but I am talking specifically car related only.
2. I did hit search and was overwhelmed by how many recommendations there were!
