Having seen this thread -

Wouldn't it make sense for manufactures to start fitting an auto closing system for the roof when a car is parked and it starts raining ?
Would be very cheap to install into a wiring loom and the parts cost almost nothing.

Logical thing surely would be for the roof to go up when you lock it?
If the roof is down what is the point in locking it anyway.

May be slightly irritating when you flick your windscreen washers with the roof down tongue out

Also the potential for a being to be caught in the roof as its closing.

Ways around both issues but just stop being lazy and put the roof up ?
