Apologies if this has been asked before.

I've been browsing this forum a fair bit, and there are many sleek/classic/simple watches...but then they always have the name scrawled across the dial....

Do many companies do sterile dial versions of their watches?

Some examples where (IMHO) they would look better without the label...

Mondaine
Meistersinger
Botta/Uno
Nomos
Sinn (656)

etc

Is anyone else put off by the names being written on the dials? Or do I have some kind of blank-face OCD!?

I can only think of one company that does this (defakto) but just google 'watch modifiers' to find someone who'll put a different face on a watch for you.
