Which course should I do?

Hello, I'm 17 and passed my driving test about a month ago and am a named driving on my mum's car to drive from time to time as to insure and buy my own car would cost well over £4000. I'm looking to do a course where I can improve my driving and it looks like the options are to do the Pass Plus, the IAM momentum assessment followed possibly by the IAM Test or to do a course by another company such as 'Ride Drive'. I'm not really worried about the effect it would have on my insurance as I have already purchased it and it only has an effect if you're the policy holder so I'm looking for the course which will improve my driving skills the best. Could you please recommend the best course for me either through doing it yourself or through recommendations

4k is the cheapest you can get insurance on your own policy? have you tried cars with the lowest insurance groups and TPFT cover?

No that's including the cost of a car and with an insurance group 2 car. Anyway I have insurance on another car so it's ok it's just the skills you gain from the course i'm looking for now
