Omega Seamaster 300m (2532.80.00)

Found one of these at a good price. I'm just not sure that is has that 'classic' look to it.

Opinions?

Nowt wrong with it and if you like it go for it. The only reason you ask is, the bezel is not blue like 99% of them. I quite like it and its different

Part of me says go for it, but I don't want to get it and think, I wish I'd gone for a classic Seamaster. This watch is supposed to be a 'keeper'.

Decisions...

May I ask what's the price?

I personally like the steel bezel.

Buy cheap, sell cheap though scratchchin

If it's a keeper, then get the one that you think looks best. Personally, I love the stainless steel bezels - the lack of colour makes it more classy.

I'd go for it, as i prefer the monochrome look.
Is that a SS or Ti model, as the Ti version is the one I'd get, and in fact want, but can't find one in the right condition & price

I would listen to your instinct. It doesn't look quite right to me.

£1,200 pre-owned. Good condition.

That's a mid-size isn't it?
If so, that looks like strong money...

No its full size as the 3 oclock position has a piece of lume to the right of the date window. Mid size does not

I like - but then I'm biased as I have one!

They are certainly rarer. In terms of being "classic" these were available before they introduced the blue bezel so you could argue they are more of a classic anyway. I was under the impression they stopped making these in the late 90's

The advert doesn't state a date but I was assuming 10+ years.

Sorry, you're right, I was getting confused between the quartz & auto midsize.

I wouldn't say £1200 is cheap, it's not a rip off either.

If you like it and intend to keep it then I would go for it.

Flipping soon would see you losing out though IMO.

Peronally, I feel that £1,200 is a strong price; even for a chrono with a full set.....

I'm going to hold out for a 'classic' Seamaster. Looking for good condition pre-owned. Budget as previously stated.

Not for me, and certainly not at that price.

Looks very strong money.
