Wanted to see if anyone is attending the track day at MOD Woodbridge tomorrow?

It looks like there aren't many cars booked on, so should be plenty of track space for all.

If you are going, do come and say hello - I will be in the Orange R500, that is until it breaks :-)

Hi,

I was there (Orange Cat R400). Had a really good day, considering it was our first track day.

I was hoping to try and keep up with you out on track, but we seemed to never be out at the same time.

Only slight downer was the fact my mate binned in - h spun coming onto the main straight and went backwards into a bush! Only cosmetic damage.

Tim & Nick in the Subaru hve posted some funny vids on you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qICxSrGjAjo&fea...

Thanks,

Luke

superb!

No, it's my mate, who i've known for 27 years!

That comment, combined with his crash will finish him off.

Whoops, good aero though i guess.

Shame you went off, was the track wet, or was he not used to RWD?

The excuses were in this order:

1) I was on my own and therefore didn't have the required balast!
2) The slick tyres were not progressive enough
3) pedal positions not quite right, I didn't feel at one with the car
4) etc etc

Simply run out of talent!

What were you in? Were you there?

It doesn't sound like you two have had much luck since you aquisition, stick with it, sounds like you are due some luck soon!
Were you running the correct tyre pressures? Not that it would make up for a lack of ability but may have been a bit more 'catchable' if pressures were correct!

Luke, no i wasn't there unfortunately, I was at a family function.

What was the track like? I was considering this circuit for something else a while back.

I have had to replace the odd cycle wing from time to time, these things happen.

Though that the day was great, pently of track space and very little poor driving.

The guy in the D-type replica needed to learn that the apex isn't the place to stop to let faster cars pass and the AMG Merc had the worse lines I have ever seen, well one of it's drivers did. Also they ended up getting blue flagged as they didn't know what the shiny thing was in the middle of the windscreen.

All in all a thoroughly enjoyable day, not sure why it was so quiet. We could do with a dew more takers otherwise it won't be commercially viable for them to continue.
