My94 impreza sti wagon lambda sensor needed asap

Hi guys, bit of a long shot i know, but im in desperate need of a confirmed working lambda sensor for the above car as mine is shot and ive got serious overfuelling issues.

Is there anyone local to staffordshire that has one knocking about that i could purchase and pick up asap.

Quickest and easiest solution would be to go to your closest Subaru dealer but I don't think that would be the cheapest option

I have a subaru dealer less than a mile from my house but i refuse to pay their stupid prices, was kind of hoping someone local to me might have one i could pick up.

That's fair enough, as I said it wouldn't be the cheapest but depends how quickly you needed it?

You could try import car parts, their normally pretty good with their postage times.

I posted a link from Gendan. How much cheaper do you want a lambda sensor for, and you get get it in a matter of a few days posted to your door.

If you're not willing to pay £50 odd (very cheap for a lambda sensor and it's a direct replacement, not a universal one) for something that's an essential part of your car to keep it running properly then you're either a tightwad or can't afford to run your car.

Sorry to sound so harsh but it's a no brainer really. Sometimes needs must!!

im well aware that you posted about the gendan link, ive no issue with spending 50 quid or more for the right part, it was the time element that was important to me, at no point did i say i didnt want to pay for something, i needed it quickly as in yesterday as i wouldnt be able to order from a main supplier until monday then would have to wait for it, i need it now, so keep your financial assumptions to yourself, the money ive spent on the car over the 7 years ive owned it will proove the lack of care with spending money on it!!!!

You're the one still hunting around for a new or used lambda sensor locally. To find a brand new replacement fully compatible sensor for your car from a local motor factor at the right price will be tough enough, not impossible, but tough nonetheless, never mind a second hand sensor('fully functioning' that someone might have 'kicking about'), which from your first couple of posts intimates your preference. Good luck!!

If you'd ordered one online Saturday, it would be with you by Tuesday earliest this week and it would be cheaper and quicker than trying to source one locally. I've dealt with Gendan before and their delivery, prices and customer service are hard to beat. Better than waiting for a lazy eBay seller to get off their ar5e and get the item delivered to you, and will it be any good.

Go the really cheap route and buy a universal lambda sensor. Cheap and nasty, and you'll be trying to work out which wire goes where if there is no wiring diagram with it, even with a wiring diagram they can difficult to work out if you aren't good with that kind of thing.

Equally, If you haven't tried already you still have to get the old one off, good luck if it isn't welded on!!

You call me a prick yet you're the one still sat there looking for a 'cheap' lambda sensor. You were given a good solution to your problem yet you choose to ignore it. No problem. However, hurling insults won't locate and fit your lambda sensor.

As for your 7years of scooby ownership, monies spent and care for your P&J.....Regular replacement of furry dice can get very expensive!!
