Just to pass on some info, I have a carbon rear towing hoop, can't remember if I bought it from reverie or Alex S but anyhow, when using a winch to pull my car up onto a transporter last week it done the job, no signs of damage even though I expected it to crumble and burn if I ever needed to use it.

I have a brand new one for sale as I decided to fabricate something stronger after seeing the egg shaped ones. List price is now £52
but make me an offer if you want it.Rob

Thanks for the offer. Just has a text from Matt at Jetstream they have some stonger ones but not sure how much they are yet. Can't see the point in replacing with another soft one if these strogner ones aren't daft money. The cf ones are about £100 each. There are some MSA approved ones for about £20 but may have to bugger about to fit them.

Don't blame you at all for going for something better. I fabricated brackets (for front and rear) from steel plate and a threaded insert so you can screw in a removable eye. The only drawback at the front is that you need to remove the eye if you want to open the clam. Just need to find some trim to to finish off the holes in the grilles.
