Awesome. For me the lines are spoilt though buy the radar mast at the bow and by the rig, i much prefer fore/aft rigs to square rigs they look more elegant, although I suspect totally impractical and unmanageable on a boat of this sizeJust thought i would share this one with you guys.... this yact was docked in the marina

MB92?
I go there every year to lift my Boss's boat.
Excellent yard! I have a great relationship with the Guys there, I've been taking the boat there since she was new. Over 6 years.
Unfourtunately it looks like I won't be there next year due to spending cuts by my Boss.
He want's me to take it to a more "Competetive" yard.
What he means is cheaper.
The problem is, they are competitive!
Which means the only way we'll do it cheaper is for us Crew to do the anti-fouling.
The only yard that will let us do that on a 27m yacht, as far as I'm concerned, doesn't have the facilities of MB92 and I don't want to take it there.
I'll be looking to move on after 9 years.
Sorry to run slightly OT!
Must be hot in BCN! It's 36 today in Mallorca!

Hi Liam,
Are you still on the yachts buddy? Do you use MB92 ?
Yep, never been to MB92, though the boat definately has. We have been in Orams for the past seven months, hopefuly out of here soon though, we are just missing a few vital components, such as masts, rigging, you know, that sort of thing. Are you still on the yachts buddy? Do you use MB92 ?
Is that not actually a Scooner
. The largest Yacht I know of is Mirabella V at 75m long and composite up to the ying yang including the near 90m mast, it'll do 20+ knots under sail

I wouldn't mind some time there, my most favorite place in the world! NZ that is, not Orams!

Athena is just Luurrrvely ain't she?
Really makes me want to get off these crappy plastic Gin palaces, and back onto something steel with masts! Still, I get to go home every evening.

These three are in Southampton this week for Cowes week, a few other big fast carbon masted yachts there too. well worth a look if anyone gets the chance...
Abu Dhabi
ICAP Leopard, there were doing some major bow sprit repairs too, looked a bit serious so we gave them a wide bearth....
Phaedo was also around, here in the shadow of the matese falcon
