M5 Touring - real world MPG
Discussion
Morning Gang
Sorry to bring this down to the lowest common denominator like......
Consolidating down to the one motor to free up some funds for the wedding - just sold my 997 C2S and left with the Golf GTI, which I'm looking to chop in against a proper sports dog mobille.
M5 touring would be ideal (took one out for a test last week and loved it) but the problem is that with the Golf gone the missus would have to use as her daily drive to get to work and back, which involves dropping & picking up the dog each way. 8 miles, through town, stop start traffic.
And although I could live with 15mpg, she really couldn't.......
So what kind of mpg should I expect for such journeys?
Cheers

Anywhere from 10 to 17mpg depending on your right foot habits. The P400/P500/P500S settings dont make much difference to the consumption to be honest but the higher the mode you use generally means the more youre going to press on, and in turn burn more fuel.
