March 2001 for me.

When my Cerbera came from Blackpool it had every option available and I wonder if at the time they where offering new or older shells for more or less money?

Maybe something to do with back lighting the plate. Does yours have backlight plates or light from above. I honestly never had or ever had any reason to look in six years.

Mine doesn't and it's a 2001 on a 51 plate.

The last Cerbera has the lights from above so that's it.

Backlight = early 2001
Recess = late 2001

mine was registered october 2001 and has the backlit version!

2001 = whatever was on the rack at the time.

just found out in the MOT manual it was ,as from september 2001 on HTH

i will retract all of that, after futher reading of the mot book it would seem there is nothing illegal (for mot anyway)in having backlit plates on any year car just not honeycomb backing
