I have my sons 7th birthday party fast approaching and it looks to be a wet one. I'm planning on fixing a tarpaulin to the back off the house but not sure of any fixings up to the job.

I came across the rawlplug hook bolt but at £5.50 a pair i would soon be approaching a budget gazebo.

Any ideas?

How about some screwhooks into battens attached with frame fixings?
Smaller packs from local B&Q etc.

Rawlhooks/bolts are good but they do need quite a big hole drilled in the wall.

Are you planning on attaching it via the eyelets on the tarpaulin?

If so, use some galvanised band, loop it through the eyelets and fix to the wall.

Not sure of the correct name for it, but its a thin metal strip with holes in so you can screw it down.

Very handy stuff, most plumbers merchants stock it.

Yes i was planning on attaching by the eyelets, i had thought of the batton with cup hooks. I think i will go with that then at least the batton can stay up there for future use.

Thanks.
