Hi all, i have plugged my PJ via s-video cable from my yamaha 750SE amp and it was colour for a while, now it's'gone black and white! Any ideas why? Is it the cable? I've unplugged and replugged but no joy. I really wanted to watch antiques roadshow on the big screen, please help!!

Check the settings on the projector for NTSC/PAL/AUTO and make sure it is set to PAL for the UK colour system, the PJ could have got confused and thinks it is getting an NTSC (US) signal.

Bad connection on the plug/cable fault? the S-video is sent as a seperate monochrome image (luminance) and colour signal so if it lost the colour info you would still get the black and white image.
Had it happen to me a lot in a van I had with CCTV monitors in the back, the mechanical vibration would cause them to fail after a while.
