Tiguan - Experiences
Discussion
Hi All
we have an old Freelander for pottering around town/ferrying the kids to school/going to the tip/for the Au Pair to use at weekends etc. its been a great car but its a bit long in the tooth now & I sense the early signs of trouble with its auto box. Coupled to that, its pretty thirsty (its the V6 petrol) so its probably time to replace.
I'd planned to get one of the early Freelander II td4 HSE but, looking on AT, they seem to be hideously expensive. Tiguans, on the other hand, seem very reasonable and quite plentiful.
Anyone got any experience of whether they're any good and what to look out for in a 2 year-old one?

I drove one last week , allbeitfor 20 mins, seemed to do everything pretty well to be honest
Cant really fault it. They do seem to get very good reviews on all parts and have yet to read any bad freviews. Prices seem to be dropping in them, alot, recently, especially in the higher mileage cars
Ive seen them from 12k 08 70,000 miles approx all the way upto £23k top of the range 2010
