Bit of a cross-post but I've put some pictures on the Photo forum but some of you may not get over there...

P.S. Anybody know why there was a red arrow with two fire engines pointing at it at Blackpool Airport? We saw it on the train back to Lytham.

1 less Arrow due suspected fuel leak.

Was the show any good? Didn't go this year as I had to get some work done. I Wish they would start doing the proper 2 day shows that Blackpool Airport used to do.

Flyer Forum thread states Red 7 suffered a bird-strike, flameout, re-start and emergency landing at Blackpool.

Pictures of some distinctly second-hand fan-blades here:

Each year this 'airshow' becomes less and less. we used to get fast jets, these days we don't get much of anything. It's sad really. Meanwhile, Southport seem to be able to do the job properly.

Very few fast jets around at shows this year - the best Sunderland airshow managed was 5 Hunters and the Vulcan
