Hi All,

I saw a couple of shops with signs stating that there were price rises imminant on the Breitlings later this year, do any of you know if this is the case? I know they were supposed to have hiked the price earlier this year.

Cheers

Yep, upto 10% increase on Sept 1. Strong rumours that Rolex will also increase the UK rrp, if true it'll be the 3rd price increase this year....

I see the Swiss are still in their bubble, oblivious to the monetary state of the rest of the world!

Mind you, it does have a positive effect on second hand values if you are selling!

I've sold a couple of Breitlings in the past and got back almost what I'd paid for them discounted price.

EDIT (re-wording): Does it matter to the far East?

I was under the, perhaps mistaken, impression that price doesn't really matter to them.

Far East, probably not, but for us Westerners we've seen almost a 50% hike in Breitling prices in the last 4 years!

Increases probably just keeping pace with the devaluation of the £.
