I'm nearly certain I saw the next gen M5 this morning crossing the A4 at Hare Hatch. It's not a million miles from Bracknell so imagine this was a pre-release staff car as I'm assuming it hasn't yet been launched?

Wouldn't be surprised either, I know Sytner HW managed to get hold of it (Monte Carlo blue one) for a day a couple weeks ago for the guys who've put down a deposit to have a look at (no drives though due to insurance etc). The manager got to drive it down from Bracknell, only one in the country apparently, also pre-production so has stickers on the BMW/M badges and car will soon be crushed :'( Happened to see it that day at the dealership, manager started it up, revved it for us and even let us sit in it despite us clearly not being potential purchasers (not for a new one right now anyway wink ) So props to them.

They haven't passed regulations, emissions tests, liabilities etc. They're just mules for press publicity. Seems a shame to crush them though and you would have thought they could find some use for them i.e. being on display somewhere?
