Karting locations Reading/Camberley

hello
I`ve been asked to help arrange karting for a friends surpise birthday.
Ideally I`d like outdoor either around Reading, Camberley or between, but struggling with google to find anthing.
Have come across these indoors:

I went to the teamworks karting a couple of weekends ago. I Thought it was good. They use electric karts which make no noise and is a bit strange at first. I haven't been to the Woodley karting place for a few years so not sure if the the track has changed, so cant comment.

The last time i did electric karting was 10 years ago and wasnt impressed, maybe its moved on (?)
as for comment about overtaking, thats why i`d prefer outdoor, proper track rather than a bunch of cut backs to fit a track into a square warehouse.

There was a bit of overtaking going on when we were there and quite a bit of contact but I don't remember any b
kings of the marshals when we got off track?
They have recently relaid the track so maybe that has helped with the traction and carrying better speed through the corners etc
I think the nearest outdoor track is in Milton Keynes (although I could be spectacularly wrong about that!!!)

Daytona is good. I've been to the Camberley track and its ok, but not amazing, the track is very short

Teamworks in Reading is pretty good, in fact probably about as good as indoor karting gets, however it is weird with no noise.
The one in Woodley with the bridge was a big disappointment for me last time I went, but that was probably 18months + ago, however I won't be going back.
There is a long indoor track in slough, but I can't remember what it's called, I'd go back there if it was cheap.
For proper karting there is Sandown Daytona or my favorite Thruxton if people can be bothered with the journey, proper karts, massive track and proper speeds!

During the last 12 months I've been karting 3 times, Premier Karting in Woodley was the least enjoyable for me, the track certainly doesn't lend itself to overtaking. Teamworks Karting was good although as others have said the lack of noise and the missing smell of petrol was disappointing, thought the karts were pretty decent though. The best place by far out of the 3 though was M4 Karting (www.m4karting.com) although that's in Chippenham so probably a bit far for you. The karts are good and the track is realtively long with several good opportunities for overtaking.
