Can anybody recommend somewhere near Leicester/Coventry for a geometry setup on a Mazda MX5?

We're not looking for anything special but an experienced setup would be appreciated for under £100.
I've contacted Centre Gravity to see if they can squeeze the car in, just looking at other options.

Cheers for your help.

Cheers chaps, CofG are currently away on holiday, I imagine they will be fully booked until the end of the month!

...and you'll probably not get it done by Chris for <£100. Last time I asked he was after north of £200 and had a 2-month waiting list. He IS very good but he's also very expensive unless you've got a car with fully-adjustable geometry and the ability to make use of that precision.

When I had the VX220 I used Top Gear Automotive in Wolverhampton. Bit of a drive but it was worth it, the car was miles better afterwards. They specialise in TVR and Lotus but would imagine any car is possible.

If Chris at CoG has been away you'll be into November at least before he can see you and then it'll be about £270 for a geo

BUT do not compare Chris's geo's with anyone else's - he does too much to mention here but his basic geo is around 5 hours work, and thats if he's happy with it longer if he thinks he can get more out of the car!

He spent 30 min on my 996 getting both rear toes the same as one was 1/15mm different to the other...

Honsestly you can get alignment for under £100 but you can't get what Chris does at CoG anywhere else for any price!

yes

My geo on the Griff took from 10:30 AM to 21:00 and that was with all new components already fitted. He still stripped everything down and lubed it before reassembling it how he wanted. Thorough does not describe it biggrin

It looks like my Exige will be visiting CoG once i'm due a check, however, from the pricing & availability it's understandable that my brothers MX5 will be heading else where.

Thank you for your help gentlemen.

Has Chris got someone working with him now? Been a one man band on the 4 times I've been there (last time a few months ago).
