So i have the replacent engine in and running but my torqueflow AFM was richened up a lot for my previous engine.

I have no way to get the car to be retuned or the other option to take the car to Telford to have the megasquirt fitted and mapped.

So has anyone got a standard AFM that i could borrow for a few weeks?
I am driving from Portsmouth to Barrow on Thurs night so could divert off route to pick it up.

Keep it in mind Dave but the wrong side of the hills for me.
Peter has offered to borrow his (and his ECU) as he wont be needing it for a month.
Just seeing if there is an easier option before i make the 120 mile round trip after a 12 hour day on Wednesday.
Yes i know i am getting lazy and tight in my old age.

Very kind offer. Obviously i would cover the costs. Its a big maybe at the moment.
I am leaning towards the trip to Peters tho at the moment as its his old engine i have and i know it will work.
Another 120 miles on my 700+ per week wont harm.

Now thats the closest yet to the route home as i take the M3 to the A34.
Are they off a V8S Kenny? I am not sure if the maps are close enough???

Yep, it's a 4.0L V8S. I've got an ECU with a Tornado chip in it which was mapped for the 4.0L and a spare ECU which is I believe is from a 5.0L HC. The AFM is from the 4.0L (not sure if it's any different from a 5.0L). I'm 5min from the A34/M3 junction. If you want to borrow them, then you'll need to grab them before Sat as I'm away on hols for two weeks. I'll need them back by early Sept as I've also gone down the MS route and may need them for diagnostics if I can't get the it running.

If any good then drop me a PM and I'll give you directions ( GPS co-ords best as Sat Navs dont always find us ! )

Thanks for all the kind offers.
I will be making what is literally just a 5 minute detour off my journey home on Thursday to pick up an AFM and ECU to try. Probably at about 10pm that night.

Cheers Kenny (gifdy) top bloke.
