Hello all,

I just wondered if anyone had a fix for a problem I have with my Tamora.

With the roof off and rear screen down, the weight of the screen sometimes pushes down on the seatbelt mechanism, meaning my seatbelt has no tension in it at all. It's just very loose and slips off my shoulder when driving.

Obviously this is far from ideal, does anyone have any solutions/suggestions?

Many thanks

Sarah

I would suggest tucking the belt under your bra strap, but after one of your previous posts that said you were looking forward to driving around topless, I can only presume you won't be wearing a bra biggrin

Cheers Scorcher for your wonderful advice as always!!

I've spoken to another Tam owner and he said he had experienced it but had no solution. The seatbelt works fine when the roof is up, so I can only assume it's the weight of the rear screen causing the problem.

I think what happens is the hood traps the belt so the real near the top anchor point so it can't retract. As you move in the seat and pull more of the belt out, it appears loose as it does not retract.
