Tyres for an X5

I recently purchased a 2001 X5, and was wondering if anyone in here could tell me if it's worth splashing out on the Michelin Diamaras? If not which ones have you used ?

I have toyo proxes on mine,nice tread pattern & £180 instead of £320 for the michelins!

But bmw dealer always moans that they not a bmw approved tyre.

The michelins are good,but i have toyo proxes on my tvr aswell so they are good enough for me.

i bought the michelin, i read on a forum that they seemed to last better than others - and hence went with them.

Vredstein get good reviews...have them on my 2007 X5. Good price/quality balance I think.

Bit late to the party but I've got Toyo Proxes all round. Paid £136 for the rears last month (19").
