Lotus Esprit spotted in Cyprus.

I thought some of you guys may be interested in this Esprit,we had an early morning alarm call one day on a recent holiday in Cyprus, when the old chap (retired Englishman) in the villa next door(we were renting)pulled his 'Wolf Automotive' car cover of and fired her up.The sound of the exhaust was awesome,plenty of crackling,popping and banging, is this normal on these? sounded as if it had some sort of exhaust mod done.Anyway it was warmed up for about 15 minutes,then it was back under the car port and the cover put back on.
Anyway,i never did get to speak to him,they kept themselves to themselves as they say.So here is a photo of the car in question,i'm not clever on Lotus Esprit variants,so any info would be welcome.
