Im just about to change the front pads on my 5ltr Chimaera and wondered if anybody has any advice on a make to get. They will be for general road use (well as general as it gets in a tvr) with the very odd nippy bit, or if anybody has any horror stories of ones to avoid! Any help appreciated !

I use Mintex 1144s all round, a good fast road pad.

Ferodo DS2500.

Greenstuff are great, but only once warmed up. Not good when a kid steps out in front of you 1/2 mile from home.

I use Ferodo DS2000. Mail order from www.burtonpower.com

Excellent pedal feel and good bite from cold. I replaced the discs at the same time.

Hope this helps
