2005 date

Can anyone confirm the date of next years Le Mans 24 hour race?

Thanks. Bloody typical, that's the weekend my son has arranged his wedding.
My Cobra replica should be finished and on the road well before then and I had planned to go down in that.
I'v been twice before but it's not the same in a Discovery.

Being that the 1st Jan 2005 is a Sunday, do we count that as the 1st weekend of the year....ie will LM 2005 be over the weekend of 11th/12th or 18th/19th June?

I started a thread on this a while ago and it was guessed that it would be on the first weekend of the two you mention.

Knowing the French though they will baffle us and put it in May next year!

Just spoke to the ACO.....dates confirmed as 11th/12th June for 2005.

As 1st January 2005 is actually a Saturday then that is definately the first weekend of the year!!

Interesting question to pose in advance to the ACO for 2006 though!!
