I have previously went on the Sunday only but can't make it this year so thinking about maybe going on the Sat.

Is there enough competitiveness and action to keep the interest up?

Unfortunately I can't however I had hoped to pop up for an hour on Saturday morning too let the wee boy see the cars (I lost interest in the BTCC in 1995!) but almost fell over at the prices... I rememeber going with my Grandad and Saturday was a fiver, then Sunday was £15 at the most.

Changed days. I may still pop up in the morning but £15 per adult is a bit of a sore one if I'll only be there an hour so on that basis, I'll wait and watch it on the telly.

Thinking of going Sunday. Whats the parking like these days, do you need a parking permit as well?

Last time I went was 96 !

No buses going to KH over the weekend, I'd have thought that would have been popular.

from the last few years the parking has been busy, but has always had space, I think it's usually a fiver or so (I think, don't quote me). Not quite like 98 or 99 when with tickets and reserved parking we got diverted past knockhill, directed past packed fields of parked cars and eventually back onto the motorway to Edinburgh!!

Gave up going a few years ago. Can't be bothered with parking in a mucky field that you need 4wd to get out of and be charged a fiver for the privilege.

It's live on ITV4 between 11am and 6pm

All parking has been on site @ Knockhill for the past few years.

And I've never had to pay anything extra for parking since then? Not sure where all you are getting that from.

I still class that as last few years wink

IIRC 2001 was the last time I ever got a bus to the circuit (from Powmill).

Parking was onsite at the field at the back but cost £5 on the Sunday. Parking on teh Saturday was free.

What is the parking like? Is there any point trying to attempt it in a Monaro?(Totally crap traction etc, etc!)
