Bluetooth recommendation?

Hi, i have a 2009 plate porsche 911 (997) c4s with no telephone module. I opted to have the dension gateway 500 kit plus bta1500 bluetooth adapter installed but have problems. The iPod function is excellent, a little tricky to navigate at first but cannot fault it. My issue is with the phone. Unless i am shouting at the top of my voice people cannot hear me, and even when shouting, they can only make out a few words which renders it useless. I have tried various codes in the system, a volume patch download and repositioning the mic but no change,

I fitted a parrot mki9200 into my wifes VW t5 the other day and it is exceptional! I am now contemplating having the dension system removed (by the original installer) and replacing with the parrot mki9200.

I don't particularly like the thought of having another screen stuck somewhere in the porker or Loosing the steering wheel remote function for the phone and iPod, but i need a system that works.

Has anyone got any advice? Fitted the mki9200 in a porker? If so, where etc?
