thats a nice little car, my sister adores them at the moment as she has just got a mini one for her first car. whats it like to drive, is it a bit floppy or fairly good?

For a start it's not that little! Only done a bit on the motorway at the moment, seems very tight & a great handling car.

Have a 53 plate JCW S in the same colours as yours and if I darent say, am quite smitten with it and thats coming from the old school mini ownership. No where near as quick as my Mountuned Focus ST, but very nimble in its own way. Need to get rid of the runflats to make it less banging on the bumps and probably better feel.Great little things.

I would go as far as to say, eithe your focus is bizarrely fast or your Mini has a problem. I remember you questioning my statement last time but i have since 'tested' my MCS (GTT 210 conversion) and it is as quick as my very good friends Bluefin'd ST (253bhp, 323ftlb). This is only up to circa 90-100 but intial ability to get the power down etc is extremely impressive...

Saying that i know Evo said their Mountune ST was stupidly fast (380ftlb iirc) so it maybe your Focus is more powerful than your estimations, either way these little cars are extremely good at getting their bhp on the tarmac :-D

Getting the wheels re-furbed on Monday, black inner with a silver rim by Wheel Doctor £65 a corner which seems a great deal for a split rim. Will post the pics up when they're done.

Thats a bloody bargain!! Will look lovely too, if they can, get them to laquer the rim as they tend to corrode in the winter...

I'm getting the rim sprayed silver as the polished rims just corrode.
