How’s this for a story:

I take delivery of a brand new Mk6 Golf Gti. This is back in 09, so it's an "09" plate. I have it for 6 weeks, some breaks into the house (while we're all asleep) steals the spare keys, the found them in the study, drives off with the car. Gits.

The insurance take 6 months to replace the car. This is more VW's fault, due to build times etc.

I have the replacement, now a "10" plate. The same robbin folk (that's me being nice) some back some 7 months after I've had the "10" plate and nick that too.

Talk about complacency. This time they take the keys from the back of the font door.

The first time the got in through a top-opener in the conservatory. The second time, they smashed their way in.

Unreal.

Needless to say, I drive something else now.

And you didn't step up your house security after the first break in?

Its normal for scrotes to return to the sceen of a crime as they know you will have replacement items, and they know your house.

When my workshop got done the police advised me not to store the tools there as they would be back. 2 months later it was done again, but I'd left nothing in it this time.

Unlucky Op. But it's common sense not to leave Keys in the back of the door. At least put them out of sight but somewhere they can be found If you arent Powerfully built enough to sleep with them under your pillow.

The OP had some problems understanding PH rules last night...

Context is everything.

That's a sickna OP

My car keys go to bed with me and the nasty wobber men would be better off trying to get blood from a stone with metal around it and hanging around Mr. T's neck.
