Does anyone now of a good site showing the 2" chassis lift procedure?

My outriggers seem to be in pretty good condition and have clearly been painted previously. But obviously its the top of the tubes that cause the issues.
Would like to take a look just to put my mind at ease and slap some Waxoyl on while I have the tops exposed.

Two inches will get you nowhere, you need to get at least 6in to have a decent look around IMO.

Theres a good thread in the Griff section somewhere. A search will net you some results.

Might help
This is the guide I followed when I lifted my Griff body and its very comprehensive.
I had it lifted about 5" at the back and 2" at the front and managed to replace my outriggers with that lift.

the lack of silly replies to this proves the lack of females on here!!

9" + is adequate, apparently.

Who says you need to lift it 6"

These planks were over the diff cage where the body is flat and sat comfortably on them, and as you can see, it gave me enough space to replace the outriggers so it would be plenty just to inspect/paint them.

Does a C class Mercedes lower the tone that much?
