right i need help at the MO i own a 1.8 w plate honda accord type r look a like this is my daily drive and as been a good car and still is bu as now got to 120000 ..
when i got this car 3 years ago i wanted a type r but could not afford 1 at the time due to a new house
so now I'm in a position to get another car and i have 5 k to spend .. i have been looking at the accord type r or BMW 530d sport but the bm, is not going anywhere in the snow and i need to get to work which is 25 miles each way
what would you do ....
I have never owned a big bm and drove it thought the winter but i have the accord which is great thought the snow so if you own a bm what they like in the snow

If you buy a BMW just buy a set of winter tyres for it, buy them soon and they shouldn't be too expensive.

i do like the bm a friend as 1 and i had a test drive but it was just the winter that was putting me off

Don't worry about winter, just drive whatever you have in an appropriate manner for the conditions. buy a car based on it's merits for the other 99% of your time spent driving; look at things like space, comfort, economy, performance etc.

All car's are similarly crap in snow, it's the driver and the tyres that make the difference!!!

As above winter Tyres are a worthwhile investment on any car.

Please try a little harder to write in English, it's very hard to read your post!
