Just noticed it's been knocked down to that price, it's been on sale for a good while, was originally up at around £6000 if I remember correctly. I'm guessing it's just not very desired for in today's climate.
Currently have a 320Td (as pictured in profile) with 100,000 miles on the clock and it's remapped. Would a garage ever do a straight swap? I do like my compact a lot but I've wanted an e39 for ages, even though I would prefer leather and manual.
I do about 12,000 miles a year and am currently saving for a house but that's still a year away. Have plenty saved so it's not like it's been a struggle to save although obviously it would cost more to run, fuel would likely jump from around £140/150 a month to around £230 and insurance would be almost identical.
What say you?

They always seem to have their cars for a very long time, not sure if it means they are often overpriced to start with? I know they also stick them on ebay quite often so you might be able to get an even better bargain if you can find it there.
Edit to add:

There might be some room on that price to be honest.

Well I'd have said it was definitely overpriced to start with. You haven't heard any bad stories about the place have you?Patrick Bateman said:

No, not heard anything good or bad. They seem to prefer to deal in the prestige brands and they recently managed to sell a Ferrari 355 that they have had for ages, I'd guess they had it for over a year. They are a fairly local dealer and you always notice the nice local cars for sale
