Right PH,
Car for commuting, including the occasional longer journey down the motorway.
15k miles a year ish
Budget approx 10k to buy
Approx 450 quid a month to run (not inc. fuel, but inc depreciation)
Must have 4 seats, capable of carrying adults (otherwise it'd be a 911 and no thread).
Wants to be decent on a motorway, and fun on the twisties. Reasonable MPG preferred, but everything is negotiable.
Top of the ehad list has RS4 / S4, older M3's, erm thats about as far as I've got. I also considered a big wafty barge (Phaeton or similar?), but having done 9 years in 2l derv company cars, I fancy a change.
Any input appreciated, even if it is MX5 =)
