Tracking down a number plate?

[Petrolhead95]

Has anyone seen or know where 95 JP is? Is it possible to find out who owns it to offer to buy it off them?

Looks like you just missed it - it sold in May 2011 for £5300 but doesn't seem to have been put on a vehicle yet.

As I'm sure everyone will agree there's pretty much no legit way of finding out whose it is or where it is.

Really? Well that's a bummer You sure there's no way of finding it?

If anyone can find out an owner I'd be interested to know - there's a plate which was advertised a few years ago (when I wasn't in a position to buy it) that I'd like to locate...

There must be a way
