Could it be because I'm using Chrome or is it just generally rubbish at the moment?

Second bit. Sounds like they are looking into it as we type.

Time the powers that be decide to introduce a subscription, time and time again this site crashes, only yesterday 'emergency maintenance' closed the forums during peak hours. Tonight it is impossible to use the forums.

Haymarket, admit it, you aren't prepared to throw the cash that is needed at this site. You will lose and alienate those users that are your bread and butter.

I'm tempted to post "pistonheads.com" in the things you would invent in the middle ages thread.

It's so slow I went and read the guardian while I waited.

I'm a tight bd but would be happy to pay a sensible annual sub to generate a bit of cash to buy some more hamsters. It'd also solve the troll/school kid posts too.

I'm intrigued to know what you are basing this statement on..

6 times I've had to use the back button after getting the time out message. Also, when I try to reply to a thread in the BB section I get the "my info" in a side bar format.

Not complaining, just saying how it is.

Running really badly at the moment, taking 30 seconds to a minute to load pages. I'm on Windows 7 and Firefox if that's any help.
