Im sick and tired of my alarm,its an after market Toad alarm fitted by the previous owner.The problem is once set the alarm goes off when any one goes near it and by traffic .It seem very sensitive can anything be done !

can the sensitivity not be adjusted on some alarms? take it to an alarm fitter and ask maybe, either that or the movement sensors sometimes pick up things out side the window if you got the type with the sensors thet are placed in the top corners of the windscreen pillars, if so, point them in a bit

I have a Toad Alarm fitted Ai606 without any ultrasonic sensors, and it is fine. I have a manual if this is your model. It doesn't mention anything about adjustability that I can see.

Give these guys a call, they are the "preferred installers" for toad and were very helpful.

Going off when people approach the car could be down to the microwave sensor needing adjustment.

It does have some type of radar type arial behind the top dash..
