Just seen this in the classifieds, god knows why someone would abandon a Lamborghini (granted it is one of the "tamer Lambo's but still).
It says it's beyond "ECONOMIC REPAIR" but surely someone with enough time (and money) could restore it?.

£3,500 for a Lamborghini ain't too bad, even if it would never run again you could clean it up well and make it a garden ornament hehe

I bet this is snapped up as a project. If I knew anything about restoring cars this would be like a dream come true. A nice cheap classic Lamborghini for £3500 cloud9

I guess if you spent long enough restoring it then you may see something back. Be in no doubt though, that's a £60k+ restoration to get it up to snuff

They'll have their arm bitten off at 3 and a half grand. Yeah, it might cost a fortune to fix, but a dedicated amateur or a pro doing it on the side could surely get that done without breaking the bank.

Where's that fat guy with the very tall friend...?

Aye that's a good Idea scratchchin, wonder if they could do a special show on it?.

How much is a good one worth?

By the state of it I'm not surprised it's listed as uneconomical repair! Not exactly the most desirable Lambo either.

Car and classic are showing prices for urracos from between £17,000 - £40,000 for varying examples i.e. condition, race spec

I'd still want one I think they look great biggrin

Still, the least desirable Lamborghini is more desireable than a top-spec Picanto.

If I had the money and space for it then I'd buy it.

If you did everything yourself you'd still be on for an absolute fortune. Parts will be imporssible to find and hideous money. I'm thinking bits of trim, never mind engine and gearbox bits. It's either a breaker or a full on resto. £17000 be way south of getting that usable

Couldn't you contact Lamborghini for parts, granted the cost as you say would be hideous.
Just seems like such a waste.
Would love to know the history of why it was abandoned?.
There can't be many urracos in the country so someone here must know this one?.

Hmm, that is a bit crusty....

Definitely not an economical car to restore using Lambo parts but perhaps it could be "Frankensteined", i.e. repair the shell, bin the underneath and drop the body over something less exotic but quick, probably not one for the pursits but perhaps better than it being plundered for parts ?

Didnt Top Gear buy one of these when they all bought a 10 grand supercar, it was a bit crap iirc.

I saw one about 25 minutes ago. It looked stunning so whoever buys the one on here is going to enjoy the car once it's been restored.

I hope someone from sussex buys it and gets the help of my local Lamborghini specialist biggrin

I'm seriously tempted with this! The Uracco has always been one of my favourite Lambos. If nothing else I can just sit it in the garage and it won't exactly lose money.

Only problem being I know very little about restoring cars, except for doing a bit of work with my dad on his Mk2 Jag.
