Change the title to the subject and you'll get more response. Is it a Costello or a BL MGB GT.

Welcome onboard Steve. The Austin Princess had 4-pot Lockheed calipers. Could be out of the same BL parts bin? Alternatively, ask around the MG Car Club.

Me too. I thought it was slang, and I'd see a russian motorbike, WWII-era maybe. Bitterly disappointed, as all I have found is rusty old brit iron.

Give the man a break! Welcome hoss, learn the ways of PH and you will soon benefit from the wisdom of many.

A pic of the whole car would be nice though!

Lovely thumbup

Did you buy it converted? If so then I'd almost guarantee it's had an RV8 front crossmember put on it, with all the associated brake paraphenalia as mentioned before as it's got the look of a Moss catalogue specced up car with a lot of money spent on it!

I'll point my dad in the direction of this thread - he runs a Hawk 289 cobra replica based (in part) on an MGB. I know he's been struggling to identify his brakes too - perhaps his research to date could cast some light on your problem (or vice versa...) wink
