Does this look like a re-cored rad?

Bought a re-cored radiator from a "professional" on eBay because I had determined mine was dissipating less and less heat.

After fitting it my car overheated more than it had ever done before

Tried bleeding the circuit numerous times, using different strategies... Still overheating.

Finally took the infrared camera from work and had a look. All pictures were taken while the engine was running and the fans were on.





By comparison, here is what my old radiator looked liked like in the same conditions:




Is it a matter of bleeding again and again, or has the "re-core" been essentially limited to the application of a layer of fresh black paint?

They are easy enough to bleed.

It seeems like the patch at the top center isn't receiving hot water.

It's either blocked or you have air!
