Hot & Cold air vents

It seems that I am only able to get hot air out of the screen vents and cold/ambient air out of the dash vents and footwell vents. The fan etc seem to working okay. Anyone got any ideas how to get hot air out of the footwell vents? (winter's coming) :-) tried search but it's not currently working.

You will only ever get ambient (or cold if you have air con) from the dash vents. I get hot from screen and foot well vents.

No ideas as to your problem though, sorry.

Yep, the dash is a sealed area and the airconned air exists through 3 vents - one on the left, one by the driver's left hand and one by the passengers knee. The other three vents - 2 screen and one driver's knee are all temperature controlled by the temp dial next to the fan speed control. If you're not getting cool air from the dash vents then you need to look at your flap settings. Do a search on here, lots of topics about it.
