I’m new to the area and fancy buying myself something like a quad for use off road. I’m in the Kingham area, is there anywhere in the area that I can go without being pestered by land owners or police?
Cheers,

Enduroland.co.uk. Don't be tempted to ride illegally you will ruin it for every legal rider around

Brilliant, thank you. No intention on driving illegally.

By driving illegally he meant driving a quad/bike at all . It doesn't matter where/how you drive people still see it as chavy and they would call their mp or whatever they do, mostly due to the noise

Try the 4x4 forums , there will be much more info on there regarding private days out . Or get road legal and ride the byways/green lanes .

Well as long as you ride a legal bike on legal land or a non toad registered bike on private land with permission then in ok with that.

It's the guys who ride in places which aren't legal or ride illegal bikes in places where the bike must be road legal iyswim

Also quads are for little girls or people who are physically incapable of riding a solo motorcycle

Oh please enlighten me I've not been beaten yet when quad riders have uttered these immortal words.

Its just this sort of bullst which makes us solos hold you in such high regard.

so the only place you've seen a quad go where a motorcycle has not been able to is where the motorcycle was ridden by a retard?

Agreed - after trying a few enduros last winter on an xr I gave up and took the girly 4 wheeled route.

Second the enduroland suggestion - next event is next weekend, come say hi if you do go - we will be on polaris 500s.

There are some great mountain bike sections (walk the footpaths).
