Why it was 25 years and rolling the rolling got stopped when 1972 was 25 years ago so that would be 1997, I can't think who would have done that.

that was labour for you,

'if you can afford to own a dirty,stinking and polluting classic car then you can jolly well pay the tax on it'mad

my car misses out by around 3 months.

My old uns are both exempt anyway but done. One or two rather tasty 70s/80s toys I'd love but can't justify the tax on another car.

There used to be a 25 year rolling exemption up til 1997. 25 years before that was 1972 so these are the last cars that qualify. 25 years before today is nothing to with what we're talking about.
