Hi guys I've just brought a set of standard 500 alloys and now need to get some rubber for them. What is the standard profile on them as I would like them to have the original look

225/55/15 front
225/50/16 rear
But I've got power steering, I think chims without run different sizes.

The rears up to '95 are 225/50/16 with post '95 cars running 245/45/16

I thought it was 205/55 15's on the front and 225/50 16's on the rear. At least that is what mine has had from new! I have PAS! I think the factory fitted whatever they had!smile

With regards to the fronts I did as well but according to Steve Heath's book it was only Griff 500s that ran the 55 profiles as standard. I had a look at a sales brochure I have and it also says 205/50 for the fronts, with 245/45 for the rears, but as you say quite likely that TVR just popped whatever they had on.

My '99 450 PAS has 205/55/15 front and 225/50/16 rears. This is what it says in the handbook as well.

I'm about to change mine as well as they look to be about 10 years old!

Toyo T-1Rs all round seem to be the most recomended so I'll go with these unless anyone has a better idea?

That is exactly what my book says too. I guess there were a few changes as on the later Chims they are 16" all round, and a friend of mine has a '93 Chim with 205/60 ZR 15's on the front also from new.
I've got Dunlop SP 9000's on mine if you can find any as I think they have stopped making them now. frown Best replacement for the S02 IMO.
