Removing the smell from a leather strap (Tag Carrera)

Afternoon,

I bought a Tag carrera last year, I chose to go for the leather strap as I preferred the look, trouble is although I don't wear it all of the time the strap has started to smell a bit.

I'm assuming it's a build up of sweat and skin etc.

I was wondering if there is anyway of treating the strap?

You could try saddle soap, but you'll be needing a new strap at some point so why not just buy a couple of nice after-market straps.
