now Ive got a set of r888`s I am thinking of keeping the proxes on the spiders for winter use, as there is loads of tread left on them and purchasing another set of wheels for the 888`s but don`t want to break the bank, what ever I get will have to be black to match the car, or can change the colour if they only come in silver ect.

so any recommendations, with pics if possible.

Dean, have seen yours, team dynamics jades I think, tried mailing you via the forum, but p/hd mail not working yet again.

Have a look at the Rota Torques, lighter than the spiders, have them on my Sag and very pleased with them good value for money.

These are the ones that are at TVR Power without the Jade R writing and were the same as the ones on the still-born Sagaris 3 (you know - the green one)

ooo, they come in 18 inches diameter too. Hmm. Are they lighter than the spiders? What about centre caps? (I think I'd get the Jade-R logo filled in and sprayed over though...)

Why don't you get them straight from TVR Power? The Jade-R logo will already be filled in and you get the TVR centre caps

Not quite Don1 - me and you have the same wheels but they are not Jade R (can't remember what ours are called but they are slightly different to the ones now being sold). We have the ones that were shown on the other still-born Sagaris 2 (the silver one with the one piece bonnet and rear facing exhausts).

I bought the last set that Vogue International had however Vogue did tell me that TVR had around 60ish sets in stock but never to be seen again owing to administration (just what I was told)

The TVR Power alloys are the Jade-R alloys without the Jade-R logo( as far as looks go anyhow - dunno who the manufacturer is) and I think they come in silver or gloss black. I've got a set of 19's on my Sag, and the benfit of getting them from Power is they come with the right offsets etc. Not sure if TVR Power do an 18's version of them tho - only seen 19's on the website.

Just had mine re-furbished in Porsche Basalt Black and they look amazing !

Clive - stick to 18's for the track (so I'm told) - you've bought 18-inch tyres already no doubt so it'll be a good match hehe

The wheels Jason (STR8Six) put on the blue supercharged Sag looked good, and I think they are a lot lighter - my 19's are not that light !!!

OK, good idea, I wasn't sure whether they just offered 19 inch, which look a bit too big on a T350 IMHO

Somebody will be along soon as you can buy the ones you have still - nice looking wheel. They are slightly heavier than the spiders but better material.

Clive, if you want to track the car more then do not get 19"s. It makes a real dilemma as the spiders are not exactly good on track either - stay well away from the curbs and rumble strips.

well after much deliberation, another set of spiders it is, I know they have a reputation for damaging easily over bumps ect, but to be honest I`ve looked at so many wheels on the www and then when you find something you like you then find they won`t fit the car, hehe

thanks for all of your input chaps.
