Planning application - Help
Discussion
Hi there,
I was trying to do the diagrams for planning application myself but realise it is beyond my capabilities with a paper and pencil.
I need someone to draw up the diagrams required for planning and the other documents required for submission to planning.
There are really 2 parts, part 1 is converting the existing laundry behind the garage so it can be driven through (wifes permission has been granted).
Part 2 is a new garage at the end of the garden.
Is there an architect/draughtsman etc looking for some extra work?
I am based in Epsom.
Thanks
Alex

Have you asked the Council? I'd suggest a pre-application meeting with your rough sketches, may be enough as the outline planning.
A neighbour recently submitted an application for quite extensive work with rather amateurish drawings by the builder. Got accepted so long as the main dimensions are OK, there is no overlooking, meets with planning guidelines.no trees issues.

Some simple scale drawings and explanatory notes are enough for planning permission.I should of mentioned I have already been to the council with my drawings and they are OK with them but they need a few more including relationship with the neighbours property. Also I want the drawings so the (competent) builder can use them, so a bit more accuracy!
I do need planning as the wall is 4.5 metres high and against the neighbours property and the garage is above 30m2.
Thanks
Alex
