Anyone hear anything about the second season of TWD? I would imagine that we should be seeing previews for it in the next few weeks and ultimately I would assume the 2nd season is going to be aired come October, no?

Yes, it's due back in October. However, things aren't going very well production wise as they have just fired Darabont supposedly because he wasn't happy that AMC had cut the 2nd season budget frown Losing the person that was responsible for the look and feel of a show is never a good thing.

The thing that made it stand out was the budget, it's production values, after reading the above, makes me think TWD will be going downhill.

You may be right - so we'll get more flashbacks and way too much character insights from the days before the Zombie apocalypse - in other words – boring time fillers that will ultimately ensure a third series will never happen.

I really enjoyed this and loved how it flowed and moved - I hope the second season isn't a load of old flashback nonsense as that'll just make me want to not watch it.

I do, however, lament that the guy who seemed to have "psychic dream" ability was taken out (or was he?) and I wish I knew what the research bloke whispered in Andrew Lincoln's ear - and do we see that racist nutter again??

Research bloke would have informed him that his wife is x weeks pregnant, as identified in the blood tests they took, that or she is a 'key' to the cure

Or he might reveal they are all infected and will all turn into zombies. In the book the Walking Dead also refers to the survivors, since they are all infected...the wife is also pregnant with knobheads kid
