Converting .mov files to DVD, best free programme needed.

I have .mov (quicktime?) movie files taken on my camera, some in 1080p HD, some 720pHD what software can you recommend to burn them on to DVD.

Can both 1080 and 720 films be put on the same DVD?

I use a mac and would prefer some free software! Cheers

You should have iMovie (to edit) & iDVD to create DVD on your Mac. Free and simple.

ETA I would suggest that when you create the DVD it will render both 720 and 1080 into files a DVD player will read, so don't see a problem.

Mods - Why move my thread?

It was in Photography and video as it's a question about video taken on a camera! I couldn't have put it in a more perfect section! Yes I want to know what computer programme to use but the essential underlying theme is VIDEO TAKEN ON A CAMERA, hence the Photography and video section was chosen for my thread.

Quiet monday and just fancied a fiddle for no reason eh?
