Hair loss and Alopecia

Hi , having had a family member suffer from Alopecia for many years, in her case Alopecia Universalis which is total hair loss, including body hair and eye brows. It's distressing for a man but can be devastating for a women. Imagine being a girl in her teens and waking up with your hair on the pillow, and being diagnosed with no cure and a life time condition.

I have been writing and lobbying my local NHS Trust for over a year now trying to get them to improve the wigs that they supply with support from my MP and others. The NHS supply fashion wigs made of Acrylic which frankly are a joke, they are hot uncomfortable and made to accommodate the persons hair ( in other words they are large cap sizes ) so why the NHS see fit to supply these wigs is beyond me, other than cost saving.

Would you please consider signing the petition I have started today, a charity called my new hair .com is already pushing for change and has signed up many MPs to this cause.
